If you are driving from San Jose to Uvita take route 27 torwards Orotina, keeping an eye out for the Jaco- Tarcoles exit. Continue towards Parrita- Quepos on the coastal road 34 to Uvita, We are 14km south of Dominical. Driving time will vary but you are looking at about 3hrs and 45 minutes, completely worth it.

Taking a bus, from San Jose you should go to Plaza Viques from the TRACOPA bus station you will be able to catch a bus “south.” Please note these buses cost from US $13-17 each person, yet you are looking into travelling about 4 hours to Uvita. Please also remind the driver that you are getting off in Uvita. They are bicycle friendly and will charge you a small fee for bringing your mountain bike along.
